Even in our difficulties...there is growth & beauty
to be discovered.
I grew up with my seven siblings in a busy and loving household - raised by two very incredible parents. After high school, while at a voice recital, I met Kyle Helmer…whom I would marry 3 years later. My goodness...he is my rock. He loves and encourages me to grow and is a constant source of inspiration to me. Although our struggle with infertility hasn’t been easy - he is the reason I have been able to find beauty in this season. It has also brought us close and made our bond so much stronger. We live and love our simple and full life - spending time with family, friends, and travelling as often as we can make time for.
Thank you for following along on my journey. I am excited to inspire and grow together. Let's get to know each other!

I love approaching my family sessions in an organic way. Less posed - more real life. These are the photographs that you'll look back on and be able to remember exactly how it was in that moment in time.

Such an incredible moment to have captured. My favorite thing about getting to photograph births are that they are completely unscripted. The emotion, fear, joy, excitement...and an overwhelming amount of love.

We travel because distance and difference are the secret tonic of creativity. When we get home, home is still the same. But something inside our minds has changed, and that changes everything.
Ahh. The sweet early hours of the morning; it is where I find peace and when I feel most inspired.
Resistance.
Every time I begin to share something about our infertility, I encounter resistance...
Do we realize that we are all carrying an amazing medium in our pockets to be able to creating lasting art?
